Leah Brecher-Cohn, LMFT, Holistic Psychotherapist

Dearest visitors, clients and colleagues,

I am so honored to be able to share this work and path with you.

As a psychotherapist, I truly sit in a privileged seat. On a daily basis I get to witness, first hand, the incredible transformation from pain, challenge and upset into authentic joy, new perspectives, and powerful growth with each of my clients.

And of course, this is also my own journey and why I choose, day after day, to sit in the therapist’s seat.

As a young adult I went through my own “awakening,” a powerful healing journey and transformation with the help of my own therapist. I walked away knowing, without a doubt, that it is every single person’s birthright to live a joyful, authentic life. This knowing led me to enter the field of psychotherapy.

I began my therapy practice in 1997 and have had the delight of being witness to the healing journeys of thousands of individuals.

Over the years my love for seeing my clients as whole beings, with an inseparable Mind, Heart, Body and Soul, led me to quite a diverse and eclectic mix of trainings, resources, and the gathering of a wide range of healing tools for my therapy toolbox.

To my colleagues, I am 110% committed to furthering our field and in particular adding insight and practical applications within the specialty that is holistic psychotherapy.

To my clients, thank you for allowing me to partner with you on your journey. I can’t wait to continue our work together! You give me reason to wake up every morning excited to offer my work to the world. Thank you for your courage and honesty in our collaborative treatment space. My hope is that, as you continue to realize your own gifts and talents and continue to awaken even more to who you truly are, that through just being yourself, you will continue to have a powerful, positive impact on your family, friends, coworkers, community and our world.

To my potential clients and visitors, I can’t wait to meet you! If you are looking for support, please know that I am here for you. I hope I am able to not only help you feel better, but truly flourish in mind, body, heart, and soul.

My raisons d'être is to help myself and those around me stand up inside of who we truly are, and co-create an environment of freedom and security, affection and cooperation.

Ultimately, my purpose is to help foster a better world for all of us – one filled with more joy, creativity, compassion and love.

Looking forward to connecting,

Leah
